Delphi's MyFi XM radio

hey everyone, I just thought I would let everyone know that I just picked up the MyFi from XM (you know, the Elton John commercial...lol)...

I got it from digitalmegastore.com....it retails for 300...i got it brand new for 205 plus 20 for shipping...not a bad deal at all....it included a home kit, car kit, the receiver, remote, home antenna, vehicle antenna, a mini-antenna u can wear on you (even though it has an antenna and wireless FM transmitter built in), and many other bells and whistles (belt clip/stand, carry case thing).

Its a pretty neat little toy. Anyone interested in XM, I totally suggest this product. The only problem I've had is finding a good flat and visible spot (other than a vent mount) on my dash for a mount. I have an '02 ranger edge, regular cab, 5 speed. Anyone have any ideas???

My XM commander mounts nicely above the bezel, but the MyFi is much bigger than that...

Your best bet probably IS a vent-mount, anywhere else would either be obscured by your shifter, or interfere w/ the passenger airbag.

Pretty lame response to your question, no? I have the same problem but you know you can't mount this thing on the vents. It would be flopping around all the time. I am going to try to make a plate to come out form under the radio bezel and mount it solid from the dash. I'll try to keep you posted.
