Does anyone else have this radio...
Pioneer
DEH-P5100UB
I currently have a Pioneer DEH-4900 with the Ipod connect even though someone stole my ipod cord... I have the 4 year best buy extended warranty and my 4 years will be up in may so i know of a way to get a new head unit... Warranty is sweet glory.... Sometimes the face cuts off and sometime it wont let me control volume. Now they say they will repair or replace so i will also be throwing in the whole it scratches my cds thing (which i know they cant fix so they will give me a credit = to what i paid for the radio and a credit for the remainder of the warranty...
So its upgrade time and i was wondering what people thought of that radio

Yeah... My gf felt bad cause it was in her driveway so she bought me a new nav for Christmas... I have my ipod nano from before the ipod classic i had but cant use it in the ranger cause the ipod connect cord was stolen...
you should go for this kenwood head unit I love it Kenwood Excelon KDC-X693 CD receiver at Crutchfield Signature
Look up the how-to on here Ben. The pieces you have to trim are two lips on the bezel. One at the top of the radio opening and one at the bottom of it. Takes maybe ~5 minutes to do the trimming and about another 5 to put in the headunit. Wiring the harnesses may take about 20-30 minutes.
I just had my head unit stolen bought the replacement but can't remember the "Metra" kit number to use? Old and new units are Kenwood old DDX6019 new DDX714. Anyone know the kit number. Both units double din.
Yea, yea yea I know but did a search thats how I got to this post.
