The hifonics brutus BRZ2400.1D it looks cool but is it worth the 450? im planning on powering 2 treo 12 in SSp's in my 93 Help me out

 

I've never heard of it. IMO, you get what you pay for with audio equipment. I'd stick with a more reputable name brand.

 

Nothing wrong with Hifonics or their Brutus series, they're 1 ohm stable amps too

 

lol i think i'm probably gonna get that one.. I've heard nothing but good things about the brutus series.. My Treos are power hungry BEASTS that need to be fed. But if anyone has any ideas on other decent amps for the price let me know all help would be appreciated

 

Fosgate, jl and kicker amps all put out some good power..

 

For the price, I'd say that the Hifonics or maybe Soundstream would be your best bets

hifonics amps are amazing. pricey yes but they are great. my buddy is pushing two rockford t2 12"s with two brutus series. it literally burped me like a baby the other day

 

what kind of vc's are on your treo's? the main difference between the brutus and the ap3k is that the brutus is 1ohm and the ap will only drop to 2ohm which isn't a big deal if your treo's are d2 vc's

 

also that brutus prob really only puts out 2k watts if that their known for being quite overrated on their ratings, but that ap is fairly rated at 3k at 2 ohms, if your interested in a 1 ohm amp, i have a us amps md3d its underated at 2k watts puts out more like 2200-2700 for alot cheaper than $450 also is .5 stable for daily
