Which door speakers....?

Hey guys, I have a question. Which speakers would sound better? I know they'd both be better than stock. Alpine and MB Quart are both good brands, just I don't know which sounds better. What I'm looking for in them is more bass over stock speakers and a clearer sound. I have a JVC head unit and it puts 45W (I think) peak to each speaker. Thanks

Oh, and I'm wonderin what ones would sound better non amplified. Also, for now I'd put them either in the door, or the rear. Probably rear because of how easy those are to get out. Which spot would I notice the most difference in sound quality though?

doors... they're not that hard to get to... you want your good stuff to be up front. All the back needs is some fllers...

Dunno about the speakers though.

Definately MBQuart any day!
I'm running the MBQuart Discus models all around right now and they sound great for what they are!
If you want alot of midbass as you mentioned, sound deaden the entire inside of the doors, it will improve the midbass a whole lot!

Replace the front speakers first. But also do the rear ones.

MB Quartsssss... I have 2 sets of components in mine, the discuss and premiums. Best money I've spent for audio equipment, which has been too much to name all the other junk out there...

Eh, the auction ended while I was at school. Oh well. The aplines went cheap. When I do get me a set I'll probably try to get Alpine, JL audio, or MB quart. Any other brand you guys would recomend for a 5x7?

Yeah... I'm to poor to amp them..Lol no not really. I just don't wanna spend a lot of money. If I got an amp it would be for a sub, not door speakers.

Sounds good. It is a pain with the cost of a decent amp, wiring and such, plus the speakers would cost more.
