the search funtion should come with a required tutorial before the first post is allowed

Sorry to be a ****, but the search function is an awesome tool that saves everyone time. It is pretty much a garuntee that someone has asked your question before you ( happens to me often). Now that this thread was created it adds another thread that has to be perused when someone else does use SEARCH. The less duplicate threads to search through, the quicker you can find exactly what you are looking for. On top of that you can find answers to your questions almost immediately rather than waiting for someone to reply

I just wanted to provide and explaniation instead of just yelling at you which sometimes happens leaving bitter members

I went ahead and did the search for you here and actually didnt turn up any satisfying results but this is a link for the exact topic over at RPS

yeah it turned out alright i guess.. (that pic was taken before the final little stuff was done to the box, like sanding and carpeting.. but was pretty much it).

once i get home, im building a center console that stretches to the rear wall, and i will be going back to 2 seperate sealed enclosures made of fiberglass. yeah, vented was louder and deeper, but it was too much. the next enclosure im going to make, im going to try for tight, tight bass.. hittin low Hz isn't a priority anymore.

you might be able to look at my set-up. the carpet job is crappy and is going to get redone sometime hopefully in the near future. but you could always get some ideas from other peoples work. i do.

A custom made box that extends into the front, holding two 12's...
