The bigass price tag. I think I'm going to order the 700 tonight on amazon for $390 shipped.

Good call. You should qualify for the free 3.0 update too since you bought it after May. Its supposed to come out at the end of the month.

I wouldn't, you won't qualify for the upgrade if you get it on a auction site.

well, im going off just playing with both, side to side, at Al and Eds autosound. the pioneer has awkward controls, a smaller screen and it lags. the kenwood uses garmin gps software, which is much better IMO, and it plays DVD's. other than that, i guess they are somewhat similar. you should just compare the two side by side.

Im going with the 700 because of two reasons:
1: Ive heard nothing but good things about them and 2. The price. If I could get the Kenwood for $390 then I would. I just dont have the money for one.

They probably didn't have the update on it, it made it soooo much better. The 900 plays DVDs, its more comparable to that kenwood unit

Well I just ordered the 700 last night and I should hopefully have it by the end of next week. Pretty excited to get it. Now I just need to go get the install kit.

I've got the F900 in mine. I don't have any complaints out of. I love the blue tooth. It use to be such a pita to try and steer, shift, and hold a phone at the same time.

I haven't found a double din that I like yet, they all seem to have issues. Nav is overrated anyways, I hate big cities and try to avoid them and in North Dakota I don't think ive ever been lost. A good compass and I will be able to find my way home...
