FINALLY... my system 56k no no
Well, from start to finish, it took me most of the summer to complete my stereo. Maybe I'm somewhat of a perfectionist, I'm not sure. But I'm extremely happy with the outcome. Many of you had seen pics of my box in progress and what not, but here it is... Hope you all enjoy!
Well, I could comment on every pic describing it, but I'm sure most of you can see what I did...

Pics are insane sparatic, I know, sorry...
As for what's in the glove box, those are my cross-overs for my component speakers up front. I wanted to be able to use these components down the road, so to keep dirt, grime, etc. off them, I figured I would install them in the glove box.
The fiberglass box is anchored to the floor using the original seat bracket holes. The box is very secure and seems to be holding up very well. I used approx. 1/2 a bag of polyfill for the sub box to get a little more lower bass. The sound is exceptional too!
I installed another set of MB Quart components in the rear of the truck, they were inexpensive at the time, so I figured that would be good rear fill.
The two controllers in the cup holders are the bass boost controllers for the amps. I wanted them to be close to me so if a song suddenly came on with too much of a lower frequency, I could simply and quickly lower it.

Those sticks are dial rods to hold the sub ring to the box. I drilled holes in the bottom of the ring and anchored them to the box using some bondo. They were just temporary until I layed the fabric over it and then glassing it. I left them in due to the fact that they would give a little more support holding the sub in. Is it needed? I'm not sure...
I know the cross-overs take up the space in the glove box. But other than the owner's manual, I really don't know how much more "stuff" you can hold in there. I put the manual along with the insurance and registration behind the one jumper seat in the rear.
As far as advertising goes, just don't steal my ****...

here's a resized pic from above, both my amps have 2 fans behind them, one intake, and exhaust. I had to add the upper plate with a bracket to hold the capacitor. I was going to make an enclosed glass case over the amps and have the fans on either side of the amps, but room was at hand so I had to go this route. It still sit's a person in the back with really no loss of leg room. The driver's side seat can recline almost 100% when the seat is all the way back...
Here's a pic of the truck:
And the New Badges Rideac1 and I got:

I've been thinking about doing something similar to this...I really really want to sell my system, but I'm so capable of having awesome SQ and being in the 150 range. I just need to upgrade my mids/highs now...I have really crappy door speakers. I wanna do pods and amp both my sets of comps.
Oh yea, I need a 2500d and a 200 amp (at least) alt....
