Finished pics of my reg. cab system

well i finished it and i'm really happy with it. i bought a 10" JL w1 and a RF Punch 250.2. i liked it but wasn't satisfied so i bought another w1. i built the box, through the subs in there and couldn't be happier with the sound. here's the progress pics, minus the initial single-sub setup.

the box and subs uncovered

put a couple grills over the subs to allow for max extension with the seats all the way back

how it sits currently. only thing that changed from the last pic was i built a little amp rack thing. i didn't like how the amp just sat on top of the box

just some close up pics of the amp rack. cleaned up the wires a bit too.

anyway, let me know what you guys think. i'm really satisfied with the sound of it. JL puts out amazing products. wouldn't mind a couple of w3's and a better amp,but for the amount of money i have in it, i am overall very happy

they bump pretty good for a 10. i would recommend them to anyone as a starter sub. they run at 150 rms with a max of 300 i think, so they don't take much power but they will still hit. they sound good with rock too and that was a big thing for me.

yeah, it ended up a little bigger than i wanted but i figure more airspace = more sound haha. didn't sacrafice toooo much leg room. i'll try to get a vid but i gotta figure out how to get it to my comp from my camera
EDIT: i used your box as the basis for mine, so thanks haha

thanks for the comments so far guys, really appreciate it!

i think it would be cool if you ditched the rear speakers if you molded them into the box somehow

i thought about moving the rear speakers like werty did with his box but i got lazy haha. i got sick of not having any bass so i just built the box around the speakers. you can see it best in the 3rd and 4th pics. thanks for all the compliments guys!

that last 4 pics are the finished product of the amp. it wasn't much of a change. it's still in the same spot, just mounted it to some wood haha. the second pic is an example of how at sat before.

or are you asking for better pics?

How did you get those to fit. I have a 05 Reg Cab. Every where I went said.. 'Oh, we can only put 1 10" in there. How close are your seat to the dash.

Can you post a pic of the seat as you have it while you drive.

I would love to do that setup.

before i had everything installed i had the seat where i could pretty much fully extend my leg when i pressed the clutch in. now with the box in there, my knee is slightly bent when pushing in the clutch. i'm about 5'10 as a reference. my goal was to have everything in and not have to move my seat but i ended up having to move it about 2 clicks forward. it's not uncomfortable at all, just a little closer. same with the passenger seat but there wasn't much room for a passenger to begin with haha. i will try to get some pics asap for ya! any other questions, feel free to ask

depends on how big the amp is, but most won't fit under the seat
