Tell me about it. I'm running wire today. I have my wire ran under the cab. Now I'm just trying to figure out a way to get it into the cab.

Just drill it through the floor and make yourself a grommet to seal it up

Theres a couple of stock grommets you can use. Just look around under the truck for them, I think one is near the driver and passanger foot well.

There is one on each side, they're pretty good size, but be careful, mine came loose and let water in, after I ran the wires for my temp sensor I siliconed it

No need to send it to me!
And I would run the wires through the firewall and inside the cab. Minimize the chance of water/moisture entering the cab and less likely to rub on anything under the cab

On my old 04 there is a spot near the steering shaft on the firewall I went through.

I just tapped a tiny pre-existing hole through my firewall for mine.

He already has the wires under the cab though, not in the engine bay.

Yeah its pretty easy to go through the fire wall under the dash, or behind the fender and then in by the e brake.

If he is ever going to truely offroad that truck I wouldn't put them under the cab. I'd go through the firewall. It wouldn't take long to change that.

there should be a gromet under the rear seats assuming you have 4 door. they are just at the back of the cab. i run my antenna wire for my CB through there.

I'll try and take a picture of how I ran my wires later when I tie everything up for the night. I ran the wire from the battery, behind the wheel well, and underneath the rockers. It's open under there and it was a perfect spot. The wires are zip-tied up so you can't see them and then I drilled out a hole by the rear cab mount and drilled a hole through the grommet and just ran my wire up through there. David(Mothman99) has his wires ran in the same spot as I did mine and he wheels his truck a good bit(I think) And besides, it's bigass 0g. It'll take a lot for something to hurt/break it.

It'll be like a week before I build my box but I'll be sure to post pics. I'll take some pictures in the morning showing my wires underneath the truck. I'll take some tonight of everything else though.

Theres nothing wrong at all with running them under the cab if you do it correctly. You know how many wires Ford has running under there?

Ive got my wires run there with a hole drilled and i have NEVER had any problems with it. Ive wheeled my truck a pretty good amount(driven through streams and mud holes) and its been fine.
