Hello, I have a 99 XLT, power nothing and the dam PATS alarm system. I bought a remote start (Excalibur RS-240-DP) and wired it in. The dam PATS wont let it start the engine. How do i bypass this dam thing??? Or can i disable it somehow?

they sell an additional little bypass box that you put a key into at all times

The Idatalink is the simplest way to do it. You dont lose a key either. You just need 2 keys to program it.

EDIT Actually it looks like yours "may" only need one key and the bypass you can buy at Bestbuy since their everywhere part #PKALL by Xpresskit. Prob costs as almost as much as your remote start though Lol
