I just ordered an 80 gig ipod classic last night and I'm looking into a set of speakers to be able to use in the garage, in the desert, outside.

At work we have an apple Hi/Fi and it sounds awesome, but its $350.

What do you have experience with, I'd like to keep it under $200, have some decent bass and be able to run off batteries.

i have a ihome... its basically an alarm clock so its not the best in sound quality
