kicker 400.1

i have a kicker cvr 12 which a lot of you know, and im running a cheap sony xplod 600 watt peak amp.. it was just one i had and i have been planning on getting a kicker brand amp. somebody on here suggested a 400.1. the sub is great so far, and i like the sound, but it can always be louder and cleaner. i need another opinion i guess, i just wanna know if this amp has enough power to do this for me or if i need to get a little bigger kicker amp.

As a personal preference, I've always mated subs to amps of the same name. Some companies design their speakers to be used with their amps and vise versa. I'm gonna guess that you have the amp bridged for maximum output?
