mp3 input?

Hi Im new to rangers and mp3 installation.
I have an aux button on my stereo that says line in when I press it. i thought I just press this and plug into a jack on the face of the stereo. The problem is thereis no jack on the front. Is there one in the back? Can I reach it without having to take out the stereo? If I do have to take it out, how do I get it out? thanks.
Tim

On mine they are in the back of the deck and I have to take the whole thing out. It depends on the brand of stereo. But I am like 99% sure that it is on the back if it is not on the front. LOL

hey tim is there one under your a/c buttons like next to your ash trey. if not then you need to buy a removal tool at wallie world aka walmart for a ford. it looks like a hoop and you stick it in the small holes in the face of your radio. then it should put right out the radio that is...

okay there is not an ashtray, just a mount with a rectangular opening that I put my I-Pass in. On the mount though there is a small circular opening that I couldnt figure out what it was for. I thought it was some kind of lock out for the air bags...
Anyways now that I look at it, it looks like an input jack so Ill try it and see what happens.
thanks guys.
