Did you burn using folders? Maybe it can't deal with folders. Other than that I'm clueless..never used the stock mp3 player

I burned mine using Nero and my HU is Pioneer and everything is fine. Are you trying to burn it as audio? If you burn it as data CD it should be fine.

make sure they are MP3's and not Windows Media format or real audio or some other format.
Then just burn as data.
The Pioneer in the Tremor deals with files 1 deep just fine

You have to make the disc as a MP3 disc (there should be a selection on your burning program), it you make it as a data disc then I dont believe it will play right.

data and mp3 discs are the same, they both do the same thing, just write the file to the disc, because there is no encoding needed...i used to have a panasonic mp3 player and would use both mp3 and data burning. but yeah i believe they made a mistake, might wanna go see the dealer
