my first sound system

Icon6 my first sound system

so last night i bought my friends extra sub and amp, so today in auto shop i installed the system . but i couldnt finish it because i needed spade connectors. so it will be getting finished tonight.

its a 12 inch kenwood KFC-w3085 700 w 450 RMS.
1100w boss 2 channel amp
ported box
and a sony xplod headunit.

um...sounds good, but...pics?

Also, did you keep your factory speakers? I would upgrade those ASAP if you want decent sound.

A good cheap upgrade for speakers are them Sony (not the xpoldes, regular) i got two 6x9's for like 50 bucks. worked good till i got MTX's

i will upload pics and a video wne i get a day off im think about this sunday i will have it up. but in my front doors a have harmon and kardon 6 1/4 out of a totalled landrover and in the deck lid i have 2 kenwood 6x8 230w it sounds amazing right now. but stage 2 is a single 12inch pioneer premier 3500 comp sub. and idk what amp yet

ok so i got a new tune on it yesturday and it hits sooooooo hard for a 750w sub. i will try to take a video today or tomorrow

Old school boss amps with the clear covers are some of the best you can buy. True todays boss amps are nothing special, but if they are ran within their limit then there is nothing wrong with them, power is power. Amps are nothing more then transistors, resistors, and capacitors. Don't bash on people's equipment just because you like to pay too much for your own.

the reason i say boss is trash is cause they dont come close to doing rated and they are dirty power

Any amp can produce "dirty" power. it all depends at what level it is ran at. almost all amps do not do the posted rated power. overrated basically applies to all amplifiers with the exception of maybe zuki amps.
