My New Ultra-Gauge

I received an Ultra-Gauge for Christmas for the truck and couldnt be happier. I love this thing. I have never used a scangauge, but this thing looks so much better with the bigger display and all. very easy to use as well.

I still need to calibrate my mpg as our trucks do not have fuel sensors. It did confirm my Speedo is off 3mph. it is almost dead on with my GPS in mph which also shows my speedo to be 3 mph hour slow.

Another good thing is the fact it has a code reader/clearer. not bad for $76 shipped to the house.

only thing i need to do right now is route my wire behind the A-Pillar plastic.

For those of you interested see below

Looks nice. Just stands out too much in my opinion. At least the Scan Gauge can be mounted by the rear-view mirror and kinda be hidden there.

Nice!! It does all the things scangauge can do and IMO it looks better while doing it. I don't mind having it stand out a bit, makes it easier to read while driving.

How in the world did you twist that mount? You heat it up a bit?

im not sure. alot of people say they like it better. it seems to be a good quality product with a bigger better display very simple and easy to use. it only has three buttons (Menu, Down, Up). My only two gripes about the unit is that the power cord is not detachable from the unit and that the buttons are on the back of the unit, so pods are out of the question.

just go to UltraGauge.com to order.

They keep costs down by not having fancy packaging (mine came is a regular shipping box (but well packaged). Also by not advertising, strictly word of mouth. Also no tech support. they have forums and stuff though. really great product

on a side note. it displays 6 gauges per page and has three pages to display. you can set them how you want. you can also set it to cycle though them or stay on the same page. im gonna use it for its code reading capabilities to read and clear a code on my sisters car

Hey Trevor, It also has a solid axle screen.

It gives you a number for how blingin your front differential is.

OK I finally got tired of the effing wire getting in my way so I put on the old headlight and hid the wire behind the A pillar plastic.
