New box idea

Im getting another hifonics 1200d amp for my 15s so each sub can have an amp. Im also gona build like a 6.5 cubic ft box and get a 0 gauge wiring kit. How loud will this setup be in my extended cab ford ranger?

What do you mean by not enough punch, just rattle?

every set up i have heard with 15's, it doesnt have that crisp punch that 12's or even a good setup with 10's does.. they all just seem to like rattle and vibrate and distort alot.. No crisp punch.... i dont know how to explain it lol..

I have just officially failed at this thread lol

they play the lowest frequencies best. low frequencies shake stuff, or makes it rattle.

****ty 15s dont sound good but a good 15 sounds 10x better then 10s or 12's ive had 10s and 12s and my buddies 2 sealed 15s blow any 12's out fo the water you just have to buy the right speakers also running 2 amps is hard on your battery/ alternator a 2400 watt MMATs amp will sound so much better then 2 1200 watts... i highly recommend you buy kicker L5 or L7 15s or 12s aswell.

haha, i never thought i'd get over having 'the loudest stereo', but after not having one, or better yet, having one but not being able to use it (lack of license and/or drivable truck), i just want like, 1 10 or even some mid bass drivers mounted in place of a jump seat or something. that way i can actually use the x-cab haha.

Well, im not keeping the 15s. I found a good deal on 4 jl w7 12s and 2 2000 watt amps. Im gona get those and build a box for them and put them in my ranger and maybe do some competitions.

well since everyone is bragging im gunna too. lol I Looked at the manual on my speakers and found the correct amount of airspace needed and multiplied by 2(i got two twelves). and got on the internet and found that formula for making a speaker box. And they freakin slam. My back window flexes bad. I have shook my mirror off at least 5 times. (i finally superglued it) I love em. Now its time for sum fresh Highs and Mids. Definately do that formula when your build that box.
