Sub box idea input needed
Hi im new to the forum and have a good question about building sub boxes in my truck. I have a 99 ford ranger xlt supercab with the jumper seats in the back i was wondering if the space behind the jumpseats if i mod it out, hack slash and cut it to fit could i possibly fit a sub box back there while leaving the jumper seats in but permanently out if you know what i mean? im probably going to start soon as the weather starts breaking but im just looking for some feedback
well obviously i would remove the jumper seat during installation but what im kind of envisioning is a sub box inside the wall of the truck flush with the wall and then reinstalling the jump seat in order to have it open and able to be sat on still as sometimes i do use the jumper seat if i have to
ill photoshop an image later to kind of give an impression but basically the process would fill the entire cavity with a box and right behind the jumper seat would be a box maybe an inch of room behind it if you get my drift.

sounds like what i did in the 93 ranger i had, i had 2 10's in a bandpass box sitting on the jump seats in the back haha
well, mine is on the floor and wedged between the 2 jumpseats, i just lean the front seats back a little and it seems to hold it pretty well, thought about making a custom box to bolt to the floor, for that real thump!
well i got the ranger because i was tired of having people sit behind me, so even with the jump seats i say my truck fits 2.5 people, ive been wanting to take out the jumpseats since day 1, but what would hold my box in place, also tint helps hide your interior
