I managed to replace all the speaker wires to the other 3 doors - but what's the secret for the driver side door?

Do I need to unbolt the emergency brake bracket? If so, are there more than 2 bolts? Hate working while standing on my ear

 

I don't really remember doing this. but I know I never unbolted anything. I think there is a black rubber cover or something like that blocking access a to the hole. You have to feed a fishtape from the door to the passenger compartment. then pull the wires through. I used a coat hanger at the time i did mine. I think the access to it is just really limited. stick with it.

 

^ exactly... little black boot runs behind the damn bracket. I used a tiewrap to fish mine through... From the door into the cab worked best...

 

okay - thanks guys - so just pull the kick panel, and fish thru? - and yes down from door side

I'll give it a shot - don't want to mess with the e-brake - have visions of wire cable flyin

 

i poppped off the black rubber boot gromet from both the door and the body to make a straight threw pass used a coat hanger to fish the line threw and reinstalled the boot on the body and door did this for all four doors

 

i ran big time over kill 14 gauge speaker wire and i dont remember something like 4-6 12 gauge wires for auto windows with my alarm

 

got it pulled today - for some reason it went easier than the other 4 doors - thanks for your input guys - just have to make all the connections and then dig the powered up tunes :)
