Newbie amp/sub problem
I have a sony cdx-f7000 head unit that I installed a couple of weeks ago. I went to hook my amp and sub to it and it all went smooth. Stereo sounded good and the sub sounded good. But my problem is that when I go to play a CD, the subwoofer don't work. As soon as I go back to the radio stations it works. Is there somthing special that I have to do so the sub works when the cd player is running? Any help would be appreciated!!

My friend has a new Pioneer with the LCD display and had the same problem when he put his new subs in. the amp was sucking too much current and shut it's self off. the radio worked fine, but wasn't fine enough quality to get the subs really pounding. he had to start off real quiet, and then work the volume up slowly, and it would still only go so far up before the amp would shut it's self off and give an error message
