Check the connector in the back of the head unit. Also I'm not sure if the changer unit has a fuse on it like an amp but check for one and if it has one then check if its blown.

Just thinking of what DJ could stand for... maybe disk jam? That would explain why the cd player isn't working.

My car used to say "NO DJ" and it had no CD player. Buy a new one then rip that one open to get the CD back

Maybe it stands for Dirty Jobs. You should get Mike Rowe to come and clean it out.

Or...It hates you and stands for Dumb Jerk

check the owners manual, it should have info about the radio.

Maybe it's not really an error message.

I have a factory remote 6-disc changer connected to my factory Explorer HU. Normally, pressing the CD button will toggle between CD (head unit) and CDDJ (remote changer). If the remote changer harness is disconnected from the headunit, pressing the CD button will make the display toggle between CD and NO CDDJ.

Try pressing the CD button - maybe yours is similar.
