i got a OHC console out of an 99 explorer but its a sunroof version....can i swap the bracket and cubby garage door opener holder thing and make it work for my ranger...? if so where can i pick up these items anyone got em they wanna sell and where can i get the sensor for it?

 

no, the garage door OHC and sunroofOHC are totally different size wise.

 

no they are different sizes as you can see above. However, the Display unit and the light unit can be swapped between the 2 sizes. The garage holder one has the standard bracket, while the sunroof one has a different bracket. All you really need to do is get a reg sized OHC from the JY and swap in your parts.

 

I thought about getting a Super Duty OHC w/ the sunroof so I could use the buttons as AUX switches... just an idea...

 

ya but no JY around here has one......it took me 3 months just to find the this one and i didnt know of the size difference any one wanna sell me a regular frame and cubby .......the computer and light unit like u said is the same so can i just get the frame...cubby and bracket and swap em?....does ford sell those parts n are they decent price....

 

I can't imagine the dealership would sell those anywhere near as cheap as they can be had on eBay or from a jy.

 

ok....ill try ebay but like I said b4 no jy around me have any it took me months to find this and my buddy found it from a shop that was parting it out bc it had a blown motor
