Just installed the Pioneer AVH-4200NEX in my 03 Mazda B3000. Along with 2 sets of Hertz 5x7's, a Pioneer GM-D1004 amp and an amplified 8 inch Bazooka. It sounds and looks amazing. Android Auto was a slight issue to get working properly at first. The key was using the original OEM Samsung issued cable that came with the phone. Apparently a lot of standard USB cables are for charging only and not data transfer. Also, you have to plug in my Note 5 before starting the truck. Thinking about swapping to IPhone, I hear Carplay doesn't seem to have as many issues.

 

Getting the same radio, any tips on the install? Trimming the bezel and such, any other things I need to watch? I also got the XM SV3001 to go with it.

The 4200 should have built in Bluetooth.....why the hardwire?

 

Bluetooth gives you audio, android auto gives you access to content/apps on the phone.
