Will an 02 AM FM 6 disc player work in an 11 Ranger with an AM FM CD MP3 radio

If the plugs are the same, Maybe

But I'm surprised that a 21 year old 6 disc player still works

Never used the CD player. The only problem was the volume control would only go up when cold for 3 or 4 years. Just kept getting worse until I found a good used one. The one in my 11 just cuts out sometimes and I would like to put this one in to find out if it's the radio or something else. This 02 is probably the best vehicle I have ever owned. Probably spent 3k or less on repairs. Even has the original fuel pump.

When my 6 disc CD changer broke, I took the deck apart to retrieve my CDs, and then put it back together without the 6 disc cassette. I then just used the radio itself for about two weeks and then the whole unit just died. I'm willing to bet the 2011 radio is the same deal. The radios in these trucks weren't that great to begin with.
