Rampage Sub

I was given this 200 watt 8" powered sub tube made by Audiovox. Model number Rampage BA-100. It has 4 connections on the back, Ground, Speaker +, Speaker -, and 12v. According to the manual it should be connected to an unswitched (always on) power source with a 5 amp fuse. For me this seems odd since there is no remote wire or power switch. Unless it gets its on/off signal from the speakers. I wanna know if this is right so I don't fry something.

That seems odd to me too, I'd search for more info on Google.

This is what it does if there is no remote input. many powered subs have this feature to simplify install.
