Removing the radio bezel

I'm new to this forum and I hope someone can help me with this: I have a '99 ranger and I want to make a bracket to mount my new MYFI on the dash. Can I remove the radio bezel without removing the radio itself?
Thanks

You can pull the bezel without pulling the radio. There are two bolts that hold the bezel on and they are right above the a/c panel. Take those bolts off and pull the bezel off.

unless you take the radio out too... it'll come out with the bezel....

use an old credit card to get into the crack between the dash and bezel.

Correct. You cannot remove the bezel and leave the factory radio in its original position. You can either remove the radio first and then the bezel OR the radio can come out with the bezel after you remove the two screws.

The U-shaped tools to remove the factory HU are available at many places that sell car audio. About $4 at WalMart.

Thanks for your help - I pulled the bezel out and then removed the radio from the bezel by compressing the clips. Didn't even need the tool.
