Here's my deal... I have an '06 ranger sport, sound system is completely stock, I never touched anything YET!

When I listen to the radio all 4 speakers in the truck work, but when I listen to a c.d. it only plays on the 2 passenger side speakers, the drivers door speaker does not work for c.d's.

Do you think i have a loose connection or something? It's really annoying.

 

i think it the radio there no loose connection if they were you cant not hear any thing

It is probably a problem with the radio itself. It's under warranty, take it to the dealer. They'll probably want to replace it.

This problem is better than a friend of mine's Mazda 3 (another fantastic ford product). The radio stopped playing CD's completely.

 

I was having the same kinda problem with my truck. For some reason my driver side front speaker would stop playing. I took the door all the way apart today and the speaker was good. I pushed on my not stock radio and it started working. Some reason the radio was out a little and it was affecting the sound. Pushed it all the way in and fixed the problem.
