They aren't bad, but definitely don't compare to aftermarket speakers. I have my stock front speakers from my 08 if you need some.

Yeah stock speakers put out a good amount of bass for a speaker, but not as well as sub. If you use are putting a sub use aftermarket but if not use stock speakers and get some tweeters and it will sound a lot cleaner and better.

Stock speakers are made of cardboard, enough said...

Have you tried fooling around with your head unit? Like messing with the Mid, Tre and Bass? Or putting an amp to to the speakers?

Is that why they sound like something is ripping when there is to much bass going to it?

So what are you guys running ?

I found a set of Door speakers in the JY that are OEM Pioneer, 5.5” Speaker with a small Tweeter next to each other and mounting on a 6x8 plate.
They don’t sound bad.
I find that if you put a little more sound to the rear you will hear the bass better.

These stock Pioneer speakers must be from a Tremor edition Ranger, I have never heard one of those systems, but the stock 5x7's blow, I ran mine off my Alpine head unit until I replaced them with JL audio 5x7's, huge difference, running off an Alpine amp by the way.
Now I am looking for components.

exactly.

stock speakers in a ranger are horrible IMO, well any basic stock ford stereo speakers isnt that great.

The new Sync system in the F150s I was pretty impressed with however. lol

maybe gm makes better speakers because my car sounds great and they have seperate tweeters from factory ...my ranger has lower end kenwoods in the doors and a seperate tweeter in the door panels..i messed with the eq settings and im not satisfied.i got the avic d3 double din radio and a kicker solobaric square 12" running off a 4000w amp but im tired of the big bass i want some clean bass like my car has...i would like the room back in the cab of my truck..idk..

You need to isolate them. Put in a little effort, and it will reward you lol
