alright, so i have a 97 reg cab ranger and i'm looking to yet again, put a sub in it.
i made my own box, and had a 12 in it, but there was absolutely no leg room, so that didnt last long.
i now have a 10, and im looking for a good, roomy box to put it in.
i've seen the mtx thunderforms, and i'm curious. so do any of you have one? hear one?
i also just found this, so give me your input on this? http://www.shipsound.com/Audio-Enhan...ox_p_8112.html

basically just throw me ideas and help me find a small little box for a single cab that wont take up large amounts of leg room!

Gut a center console and do an enclosure for a sundown audio 8" sub. Those things get it pretty damn well. The mtx piece is good, but it won't rattle your teeth, but it's a small seal enclosure so it never would.

I would make my own. You don't have to make it just square or rectangular. You could make one in the shape of an 'L' and have some of the box under the seat. For whatever size sub you get, it should give you the cubic foot dimensions that you need for your sub and then when you take your measurements, just try to figure out if the box you design will fit those dimensions on the inside.

I have never used this but plan to.
$25, it is worth the try.

At 0.58 cu ft t should be OK for my shallow 10” sub.

I had one of those and you lose a lot of room behind the seat. And it won't work unless it is a shallow mount. I have to fab up another piece to get it to fit my regular size sub.

Sonic suggested it for the Pioneer Shallow 10”.
Sonic has not steered me wrong so far and their pricing is good and shipping most of the time is free.
I plan on losing the space behind one of the seats, probably the passenger side and my Bed Box will pick up the slack on extra stuff floating around.
