Sub Boxes In the Rear of My Four Door Cab

I just got my 2003 Ford Ranger FX4, Four Door about two months ago. I am getting ready to overhaul it (4 inch Suspension Lift, 35"s, the whole shebang) and I want to put in two subs, either two 10'"s or two 8"s but I also want to be able to have the seating in the back of the cab. My dad suggested that I try to build sub boxes UNDERNEATH the fold down seats, but I measured it and its only about 7" high, and about 14" deep. I guess I could put the subs diagonally, and leave the seats up most of the time, except for when I need to haul around a couple of friends. Here are some pics to show you what I mean...

I am pretty handy with all the audio gear and with making boxes, so I should be alright in the labor aspect of it... And I have probably $600 to spend, so I think that should be plenty to get a couple decent $200 subs and a decent amp then build the enclosures

Has anyone seen this done and/or done it? If so.. Got pics?

I have been looking around on this site and on Car Domain and havent seen anyone do it, or maybe I am just blind.

Any response will be greatly appreciated!!
