Subs in doors?

I have a 4 door ranger and I have an opportunity to buy some 10" kicker subs for cheap but my problem is that I am always hauling people around so I don’t want to take out my rear seats or put a huge box back there. I was wondering if anyone has ever mounted subs into the rear doors under the stock speaker location? Any input would be appreciated.

Yeah, I remember 8" in the little cubby in the rear doors ( screw you people with 4 doors!!!) He did fiberglass work for a custom panel / box that didn't turn out bad at all actually...

I've seen some 8" subs in the front doors all glassed inplace that didn't look too ricer and sounded good.

Just noticed your in Polk cty, look at fiberglassforums.com there's some guys that do awesome work not far from you....

My friend has 2 L7 10"s behind his back seats in his f350, 2 in his center console, and a 8" in every door.

My previous car 2004 and 2006 Volvo S60R had 2 - 8" bass in the doors and 2 - 8" bass speakers in the deck. The car sounded phenomenal. Maybe you can get away with bass speakers and not sub speakers.

Well I had two R's. 2004 and 2006 R's. The 2006 was 3 months old and some girl smashed me from behind and pushed me into a flatbed tow truck and totalled the car out. Finding brand new R's in 2006 was very hard since they quit making them after 2007.

So I bought a Mercedes C55 AMG instead.
