Three 10'' JL W1V2

Today, I went up to car toys just to shop. Right now they have discount going, $25.00 off on each JL sub with a dollar donation to charity. With this discount I purchased three 10'' JL W1V2 subwoofers. My 97 ranger has a bed cut. The existing older W0 JLs were old, cracking and loosing quality.

Install pics and review coming soon.

Is anyone running these subs? Let me hear your opinions.

Today the install went really smooth. I took some photos along the way. I wish yall could hear it now. This system gets off and will knock pictures off the wall. Now I am going to make a new CD to jam so I can do some testing.

It has a slight angle to the back side. Each sub has it's own sealed compartment though. Thanks guys, I am still on the fence about the painted grills.

I don't like the grilles and I think you need to rework the carpet in that thing. Make it as clean as your other one!

I agree, the interior was tired and needs some TLC. The seats and door panels are at the interior shop. Actually the door panels just came out Friday. I don't know why I have not been making build threads for this truck. I will go start an interior thread instead of posting it here.

Much cleaner hit. The bass tightened up as well. It rocks. The W1 series JL sub is great for trucks. The sub is slim, perfect for truck boxes.

Very cool. I'm hoping i can squeeze one in my JL stealthbox. I think the original W3 that is in there is getting kind of tired. It's been a great sub, it has crossed my mind a few times to pick up a new one soon. Thanks for the input and i can't say it enough man...nice truck.

You can't go wrong with a new JL sub. It should fit fine. Subs get tired after a three years or so. Thanks man, I am taking this one a little more serious. Just wait until we dig into the motor. I may turn the stereo off to hear the pipes. lol
