Trashed a CD6 today from my 02..
Completely.. Thoroughly.. Destroyed it.. And it felt absolutely great!
I've had issues (like others) with it eating my CD's and not wanting to give them back.. Couldn't get the damn thing to work. Took it out, shook it as others have done, nada.
Soooo.. I'd had enough, and decided to rip it apart and fetch my CD's. And that I did. Trashed it in the process though.. Didn't care enough to try to be gentle with it.
So, with that said.. Looking for a head unit.. I'm one step short of broke, so I'm looking for something cheap, but halfway decent.. Only needs to be able to play CD's... Don't care much about anything else.. Although plugging an MP3 player into it would be nice.. :)
Suggestions? Cheap is the key here.. Thanks!

Ha ha! I'm sure you're living the fantasy of many CD6 owners. I'm still okay with mine, but who knows for how long.
I happen to have another CD6 in storage though -- never tested. May be that I can fix mine if it needs it.

Yeah, it was definitely entertaining to destroy it.. Pile of junk.. Grumble..
Now I've got a nice gaping hole where it used to be. Definitely going to have to get something quickly. Gotta have some music to listen to on my long *** rides to and from work..
