I have a standard cab ranger and currently, I have a single Kicker Comp 10" being pushed by 400 watts. This hits pretty good for me, but it feels like it is being pushed to hard when I turn up my bass about halfway and it does not hit the low ranges well at all. I am looking to get 2 12's. I plan on putting them in this box Ford Ranger Standard Cab 99-12 Dual Subwoofer Box. And I just need some suggestions on some good 12's. And maybe some recommended amps for them. I was looking to spend no more than 200 for each sub.

 

I've had 2 Kicker CVX 12's with a Kicker 1000.1 amp for several years and never had any issues. They've always performed well with everything I've put through them.

 

I've got a pair is Pioneer TSW 310D4s right now being pushed by my 1200x1 Pioneer Amp. Subs are only rated for 400 watts RMS and I'm giving them 600 a piece and they still do well till I turn it up too long and start to smell the voice coils melting.
