what ive been up to the past couple of days
build pics!!!!
started out gorgeous
n then there were decisions i had to make.....n if i even wanted to make a mockup....which never happened.
yay for giant clamps
.....fits pretty nice...
the ugly piece thats screwed on is a piece that goes directly around a bulged piece of plastic that my jack attached to, which ended up making the box "fall" into place almost perfectly!!
finally startin to get somewhere
crazy amounts of screws cuz we really couldnt screw down the bottom of the face...
holes drilled through the first piece to get to the second piece so i could screw it down
me lookin like an idiot after i fell in
omfg its done!!!
whenever i get my next day off of work imma attempt to carpet it.
so far i havent really "tuned" my amp yet cuz i still need to download some tones...which hasnt worked out...
and i need more wood for my false floor cuz the amp is just laying where it was shown in one of the pics up there
and now i kinda wanna slot port it...... n theres like a perfect place for a slot port to come out.....
so far, it kina rattles roof, bulges my rear window, makes my throat feel like its rattling, and makes my right ear kinda sorta hurt...but i just upgraded from a single 10" pioneer premier lol, so its expected.
oh, and im glad this sub has this rubber ring...or atleast kinda....its gotten F'ED up from me n my friend putting it in....especially since the flushmount part isnt perfect perfect, the sub kinda had to be shoved in....with a flathead...lol
but it doesnt really show so thats wat counts....

im definitely gunna port the box soon though.

honsetly though, i think ive seen setups with two 12's hit harder...so im like not fully satisfied yet.....
