Ive been silverstarred!

Well i broke down and bought a set of Silverstars.
Had to consult the How To: Clear Corner Install thread on how to release the headlight. Not too hard, but I know how to do it well for the next time I have to go into the headlight assy. Took it for a test drive and was like "this aint that bright". Came home and went to walk in front of the truck and the passenger side was off. Long story short i forgot to connect up the wires. WOW these things are bright!
Now just to get some Hella's or KC's.

theyre like 37$ for the 9007 and im not sure how much the fogs cost but i think peopel use 9005's instead of the correct ones since sylvania doesnt make them....

im still thinking about getting some but i have a hunch that i already have something simular because when i pull close to my garage at night the edges have a blue tint to them....

I got the xtravisions cause of the supposed glare these have on snow and rain. I like mine but I think I would like silverstars more.

when you can, get the 9005's for the foglights, they'll make things even better!

well i went from stock to silverstars to xtravisosn,. I like the xtravision the best, for one reason, they have the same output and last 2x as long. when u look at the actual headlight, u cant really tell much difference, the silverstars do look a lil more blue, but, other than that their the same.

I had silverstars in my fogs, and while they were nice, they lasted a whol 3 months.

=(

then I went to the cheapo blue bulbs on ebay for $6 a set. they SUCK 0 light output, their more for looks that light output. I also tried Piaa. however they didnt fit correctly, so they were just jerry rigged in there. and WOW what a difference.

if i had a choice id go with the piaa's over any sylvania bulb i have tried, they had more light output than my xtravsion head lights. they were simply awsome. however i threw them out cause i thought they didnt work, then found out later that i burned up my relay... OOPS! oh well.

no similar, I have the Nokya Arctic White lights 80W/100W and a relay kit so they wont fry anything. Before I didn't have the harness the lights were RICY blue now they are light blue. I'll take a pic tonight
