Silk tweeters will give a warmer sound, Metal will give a more ear piercing sound. Ill get some info for ya.

Silk
They don't say "smooth as silk" for nothing! Silk is a highly-regarded material for tweeters because of the smooth, open, and airy sound it produces. For best performance, it must be properly treated and coated. High-quality silk can be somewhat expensive.

I also take it you want door speakers if so the install can be easy, with the proper tools. I will do some research into those speakers for you. Give you my opinion on their door speakers. If you want componets those wont be as easy, minor cutting may be required. But I would also recomend welding another piece of steel to the door over the hole to fill out the oval coaxial speaker will leave behind. Now if you DONT want them in the door that's a whole different thing and you will have to tell us where you want it.

I think im gonna get a doctors degree in Audio lol.

Dr. Audio -or- Dr. Boom
