i basically "found" this sub at our old house. we were renting it out to these people and they trashed the place so long story short we evicted them and they left this sub. its a 12" jl audio 12WØ-12. does anybody have any info on these and what is a complete list of everything i would need to get this thing in my truck? i already have a box in mind so dont worry about that.

thanks in advanced for the help.

http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woofer_wizard.asp can help u wire the sub in the box you build
http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/box_wizard.asp can also help u find out the internal air space
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1170289781245 rockford fosgate amp ftw! i got 300.2 channel but that mono would work just fine never had a problem
http://www.ehow.com/how_2247794_wire...paign=yssp_art helps a little bit to wire the amp up but its pretty much easy run power wire to battery making sure to have a correct size fuse within 18 inches from battery... ground wire to ground remote wire to radio... rcas to radio eassy 8 gauge kit should be good for your system

http://mobile.jlaudio.com/pdfs/10_12_15W0_MAN.pdf check that out, and that amp would power it. . 125w for optium performance personally i'd go with a mono block amp, wiring is fine and you cant realli run it with a factory head unit. . .u need an aftermarket one with pre outs
amp kit is pretty decent the speaker wire is alright but hmm its called walmart lol they have all that your not gonna be like comps or nothin so it would do the amp hock never heard much about the Blaupunkt's so i cant tell you yes or no stock radio yes it could be ran need to install a line out adapter though to the radio like this http://www.allelectronics.com/make-a...html?iorb=4764 check local audio stores though they should have something decent hopefuly they wont rip u off

its gonan sound like crap commin from a factory radio. . .trust me, your better off getting an aftermarket headunit for 100 bucks with a preout and doing it that way but again to each his own
yeah chevy is some what right it wont sound the same as like a aftermarket radio but i have factory pioneer 6 disc with the out converter connected to the factory amp my kicker cvr 12 beats crazy no one can belive its just 1 and im like yeah its factory radio haha

thats a good way to spend way more than you would just getting the 'good' stuff to begin with. Not a vital part to driving the truck, save up and get the good stuff the first time, i never spend money on 'planned to be upgraded' parts. not cost effective when buying things new...used/cheap? maybe..
