wiring help!
alright i got a powerbass 2 channel amp its the extreme model xa2150 so it should have plenty of power to run 3 12"s
anyway for the subs i have 2 12" dual rated at 1100w for the pair and a jl w3
and the duals have the single port for wiring both subs
but when i wire all the subs up together it seems like it gets less power then when you just have either the duals wired up or the jl??
doesn't make since what should i do to fix this or just buy another amp?

What's the ohm rating of the speakers?
Are they single or dual voice coil subs?
How are you running the 2 channel amp? Bridged?
What is the power rating of the amp at 2ohms? 4ohms?
You are correct in that the subs will each get less power when all three are connected because they are sharing the power divided by 3 instead of two or just one. And, just a heads up- be careful not to wire the subs into too low of a load (ie 1ohm or 2ohm) if the amp can't handle those kind of impedances. Most amps in bridged mode are only stable to 4ohm; however, some are stable at lower.
Just my opinion, mixing brands of subs is not usually done because it can sound like poo poo. I might be tempted to run one brand or the other.
