I have an aftermarket single din headunit and the mounting kit adds a little cubby hole thing under it, I got really lucky and my **** for the bass gain fits snug in that little cubby.

I'm thinking your 2002 would be a similar set up, interior wise, to my 2001. It also depends on your amp make and model too....I'm running a Rockford Fosgate amp. I popped off the cupholder on the floor/transmission tunnel and installed it there. I suppose it would depend as different brand amps might have a different size control ****. I couldnt get mine to fit where Korey referenced. I had to drill a small hole for the mounting bracket to fit and one for the cable and then I ran it under the carpet back to the box. You have to get a little creative. I know I sat in the truck for about 10 minutes to come up with ideas where to put it lol This was the best picture I could find. Hope this helps!

I just had mine mounted like my CB in my last truck, just on the other side of the steering wheel:

should be fine as long as it doesn't get in the way of some double gulp cups!

I mounted mine below the passenger airbag switch. Not too far of a reach...works well...and easily accessable....

(nasty old pic...but it's still in that location)

I wanted to get mount it in place of the rear wiper control on the Exploder bezel. Someone has it done like that but I'm not sure who. They used the **** for the wiper so it looks like nothing special.

I built mine in place of the cigarette lighter since it didnt work anyway. People always freaked out when they found out that was a **** and it controlled the sub.

I just got a washer painted it black and stuck it in the hole, then I made a plate out of some very thin sheet metal as a place for the switch to mount. I made the sheet metal so that it mounted to one of the screws that held the 4wd switch on and glued it in another spot. You can just mount the **** in the washer but it isnt quiet flush so you can see the nut that held it on, at least with mine. sry for the blurry pics

Ohh and you have to take the **** out of the factory casing or it wont fit.
