XM radio installed
install took about 3 hours... I hardwired the power plug in so I didn't take up one of my sockets... having that aux port is awesome... on with the pics...

*when you wire the extra plug make sure you fuse it, I did mine with a 30AMP...

Looks good, how do you like the programming? I had XM in my ranger for a brief period and was disappointed with it. I recently installed a Sirius radio in my GTI and I love it. That aux port must be real convenient to have!

haha, the aux port made it much easier to do, and gives you the best quality, the unit is good, I just got in from cruising and I think my blinker mod on the right side(pass) is screwed up, my blinker was ticking fast, got out and looked and the 194 outer corner was on but the 3157 was out, and the lil indicator on the dash for the right turn signal was still lit after I switched it off... does that mean its just a blown bulb???
My sirius is preinstalled. I got used to the 3 months free and I like it. I don't like Howard Stern. I had XM previously, but to me they are basically the same -- except for the sports part. XM is baseball, but Sirius is Football and Nascar, if I am correct ??

yep, and to the other guys, I've dabbled with XM before, got one for Christmas before but just used the 3 months, they've gotten better w/ the quality, I listen to Highway 16, XM Cafe, Flight 26, and the comedy stations...I just hate that I have to fix that blow bulbs or w/e it is, today it was snowing,I'm probably gonna remove the blinker mod...has bothered me ever since I did it...
nice install, I just got xm last week. I got the Pioneer Inno portable, and I was thinking about putting it in my truck. The car kit is expensive tho. I really wish I had an aux. input like you do, I am wrestling with if i should rely on the FM transmitter in the Inno. Don't know...I'm still thinking about it.
Where did you mount the antenna? In the cab or on the roof?

I always was jammin' to XM 101 The Joint
I had the Inno, only way to listen to XM anywhere.. I had my antenna inside the cab with no problems so no one could mess with it, I just put it on the dash in the middle.. sold it.. bought ipod.. more money in pocket

When you had it, did you use the FM modulator? Or cassett or aux. input?
I am wondering how good the sound is through the FM mod., some say it is a little staticy...
