I was just wondering, what's the best polishing compound to remove tarnish off of chrome wheels. (I have the OE 6 spoke chrome skinned steel wheels)

 

Wheel Cleaner - Griots Chrome Wheel Cleaner
Chrome Polish - Mothers Chrome Polish
Wheel Wax - Poorboys or DP Wheel Sealant

 

Ive always had best luck with Blue magic all metal polish and Megs mag and aluminum polish. Ill spray down the wheel with some Quik detailer, clay it, then bust out the polish. granted I just have the steel wheels minus the covers, but works wonders on my chrome exhaust and on my brothers Honda.

I don't have any trouble keeping the front of the chromes looking good, its always the back since they never get washed unless I am rotating them. I always have to rub like crazy to get the pits out of the back of them. Is there anything I can spray on them to stop that or am I sol on that?

 

All the truckers up here seem to go with Autosol and Lucas metal polish. Never heard anything bad about either!
