cleaning sun visors

Got some expo sun visors. They are in great shape, but dirty with smudges and stuff.

How do I clean them?

Could try some carpet cleaner I guess. Or are the expo visors vinyl? If so maybe a good vinyl or leather cleaner might work. I use Meguiars leather cleaner and conditioner on my moms expo seats, dash, center console, and visors. Works great and removes skin oil stains off the console very well.

we use a product called ardex to clean our materials if/when we get things dirty. it's basically a wax and grease remover. don't know where you can buy it. if you ever make a trip down to the coast, i could hook you up.

I'm not sure man. Carpet is carpet to me lol. But if you do soak them down and use a good carpet cleaner on them, I would try to dry them as good as possible like under a heat lamp or even maybe on the lowest tumble setting in a dryer. Leaving it inside the house to dry could cause molding maybe. Of course after applying the carpet cleaner if that's what you do, I would use a shop vac and suck all the cleaner and water I could out of the visor first before drying.
