clay bar wont do anything you need metal polish. No there is no protective coating that you can apply some companies sell it but i don't dare use coatings on my wheels. I am very picky when it comes to them. Having polished wheels is a big task keeping the clean and polished. when they get bad like this expect a lot of hard work.
