Dash question

Hello I have an odd issue with my truck, it's not a big deal but I would like to get it clean. Ok on the dash there is dirt and looks like water marks behind the instrument cluster in front of the rpm gauge, see picture. I was wondering how to remove the clear plastic in front of the gauges to clean it? I seen Takeda's thread but he didn't cover that. https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...ad.php?t=65263 I'm not sure if I can just pull it off or if it's screwed in from his steps? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Here's the picture of what I'm talking about. (Look to the left middle and the bottom center.)

Yes the clear plastic part comes off. Just follow the directions on that link and once you get the gauges out you can you will see the screws that hold it on.

Ok I got it done, unfortunately I was unable to get the "water marks" out of the plastic over but I did give it a good clean. Here are the pictures.

At the start hmm.

Rf? Sure why not.

Step 1:

Please note these screws for the hood release are NOT 7mm like stated in the other thread.

Hard at work... lol

The plastic cover comes right off, the white clips are holding it on. You do not have to unclip them it just pulls off. No screws at all.

Plastic clips:

Yuck.

Plastic cover off.

All done.

And heres a better picture of the deck friends were asking for.

Thank you, and it was $229.99 (All Canadian funds) for the deck, and then $29.99 for the plastic shelf and $8.99 for the wiring harness I believe from Best Buy.
