Ever wonder how much crap is under you seats?
Today I took 30 minutes out of my morning to remove the driver and passenger seats from my truck to vacuum and wash the floor under the seats. It's easy, just 4 bolts per seat (8 bolts total).
I found everything from gum wrappers to pennies and quarters, even racing forms from the racetrack, pens , pencils, and dirt.
I felt like taking auto detailing to another level today:), you guys should try it, my truck feels much cleaner now:)

HAHA great posts, when I worked in a body shop we found a LOADED .38 under the passenger seat lol. No It wasn't a gang-banger car. We unloaded it, boxed it up and put it in the trunk, lol.
My boss called me over and said "hey what's that under there?" as he shined a flashlite under the seat.
I said, "Its a gun!" lol
How someone could forget they had a loaded handgun under their seat when they brought it in is beyond me.
People leave all kinds of stuff in their cars!

Just before I sold my jeep I cleaned it up. I got to pullin crap out from under the seats and when it was all done an over I had bout a few bucks in change. 1 1/2 boxes of shotgun shells, handfull of 30-06 shells an im not even goona guess how many 22lr and 17hmr shells. lol
Oh an as to the pistol thing. Its pretty easy to forget something like that is in there. When I took my rig to get it alligned I left it overnight. I was gettin a ride home from there an we had to turn around. Shoulda saw the look on the guys face when I pulled 3 rifles an a ammo box outta the back seat. lol

I detail my truck on a weekly basis, and I give it a hand wash and dry every 3 days at a maximum.
Once a month I give the underhood a cleaning (did this saturday) Purple power and a steam wash does the trick.
Since I have an edge, I have the rubber 'carpets' - They shine up very well with armor all (easy when you take out the seats) and it looks very new.
This summer I plan on taking a brillo-brush on to the underside and cleaning every inch of surface rust and dirt to steam wash it and undercoat it by hand with rubberized spray.
People always think my truck is brand new, when I actually have 35K on it.
I take the same care with my evo.
