I just use old beach towels, I haven't noticed any swirls or scratches at all and this is how I've dryed my truck ever since I first got it.. I've used the water blade before and it seemed to take just as long to get it dry than it does to get it dry by using just towels. I've been wanting to buy one of those super absorbers but just haven't yet maybe I'll pick one up today.

i use a microfibre towel. it's similar to the yellow one you get with a meguiers' claybar. it works pretty good.

yup, learned that the hard way. I got a full size premium microfiber towel from pepboys, its like the thickest softest towel I've ever seen. Use it with a california water blade and haven't looked back.

Sh*t, my truck gets a better quality towel than I do

I've tried the absorber, waffle weave microfiber, and california waterblade. Hands down I think the absorber is the best, there is so much hype on the internet for the waffle weaves and I thought the one I had sucked ***. I only use it for small spots that I miss after the absorber.

Yeah I do the same thing with mine. The absorber gets 95% of the water off, then I just go over with the waffler weave to get the little stuff the absorber leaves behind.

Thats why you go over it with the waffle weave real quick after that. Only way I've found to get all the water off
