Lift Advice

Hey i just baught a 2002 ford ranger single cab 2wd 4 cylinder truck and im interested in lifting it.my friends look at me crazy because its 2wd but im going to put a winch on it to help incase i get stuck.but the fact is i want to lift it! i just dont know what to use.whats the best performance and price wise.ive been thinking of body lifts.there like a whole kit for 200 hundred $.if i got this kit would i need any other parts?shocks i dunno?what do u guys say i should do?thnks

get some spindles off of ebay there are members here running them. and this should be in the suspension thread not 'cleaning and detailin'

I know he doesnt' have the same setup as you, but it'll give you an idea of other lifted 2wds here on the board.
