Holy Crap!!
Hey guys, just bought a used 07 Ranger Sport. She is pretty clean inside, outside topside clean, but I just stuck my hand up into the rocker panels.....
Well I couldn't believe how much dirt I could pull out by hand. Almost filled a 5 gallon bucket, poked at the harder clumps with a wooden dowel, but I've got to get a pressure washer up in there.
My fuel mileage should increase, I just lighten the poor thing by 50 lbs.
I guess I'm wash the underside before she goes for undercoating, boy thats going to be fun.........
But aleast theres no rust yet.
A quick question....what do you guys use to keep the rubber floor looking good, a friend of mine suggested tire foam, but I don't know about that. For the interior, dash and such is Mequiars NXT tech protect ok for cleaning and protecting. I'm looking for a more matte finish, not the high gloss the blinds you as you drive down the steet.

When i clean mine after getting it muddy i just use degreaser, red max is what its called and its made by a local company around here, and a lot of water and scrub it with a brush and just use a shop vac to suck it all up.. that stuff usually leaves it really black but i've also used just a dab of armorall on a rag before.. just be careful cause it gets pretty slippery
Ok I used some tire shine on mine yesterday and it turned out super slick, so I probably won't do it again. I just use Simple Green and some elbow grease and it turns out pretty good. I'll try that Meguirs stuff next time.
my friends dad uses this blue stuff, I dunno what it is, but he says its best used on rubber and plastic, its made to protect it over long periods of time, where as armorall will actually deteriorate rubber.
