I have a 2001 Ranger Edge reg cab 60/40 seat with fold down arm rest. My question is how do i remove it to fix the lid and the covering ? JAY

 

Feel around the inside where it is closet to the seat. There may be a plastic plug covering a hole or it will be open. There is probably a torx bolt (45) attaching it to the seat. Just going by a couple other ones I had.

 

There should be a plastic cover between the armrest and the seat back that points diagonally towards the rear window (base is by the seatbelt). This is where the armrest pivots. Those plastic covers slide upwards, towards the rounded end to expose bolts on either side. Seems like they were a bit of a pain to slide off.
